Why Choose Heritage?

Making the right choice in many areas of life is critically important. Many of the choices we make as individuals and families will have life-long implications. One such choice involves the education of your children. Why should you even consider Heritage Christian as a possible choice for the education of your children? Then again, why should you choose us as your school of preference?

In making any critical decisions in your family, we at Heritage believe that God and His Word must be the starting point of any decision. If we don’t have a proper point of beginning, we can’t expect a proper conclusion.

Spiritual Helps in Making This Decision
  • PRAY – Fathers and mothers should pray earnestly and fervently to know the mind and will of God for their children’s education.
  • PRAY AS A FAMILY – Fathers and mothers are encouraged to pray along with their children in making this decision. This will impress upon your children the importance of praying for all major decisions in your family and that you value your children.
  • PRAYER PARTNERS – Ask those closest to you to join with you in prayer about this decision. It may be your pastor, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, family member, or close friend.
Practical Helps in Making This Decision
  • ASK – We encourage you to sit down with a member of our admissions staff and ask as many questions as possible. We are excited about sharing our ministry with you.
  • ASK OTHERS – We also encourage you to speak to other parents and students currently enrolled in our school. This will give you a valuable perspective of the administration.
  • ASK AROUND – What kind of standing does the school have in the community? What kind of reputation does it have? What does the average graduate profile look like after attending Heritage? We encourage you to ask around. We believe our reputation speaks for itself.
Why Should Your Family Choose Heritage Christian?
  • Because we are God-focused - Because we are God-focused – See our Credo on the main page.
  • Because we are Christ-exalting – See our Credo on the main page.
  • Because of our commitment to family – At Heritage, we not only enroll students, we partner with the entire family. Families must realize that they have the primary responsibility in the education of their children. When you choose Heritage Christian that means that we become partners with you in this process. Pro-child – Pro-family – Pro-cooperation – That’s the Heritage Way!
  • Because of our commitment to excellence – See Academic Profile.
  • Because of our heritage – Tradition and history are vitally important in education. Being Georgia’s third oldest Christian school with more than 30 graduating classes has given us a distinct history.
  • Because of our experience – Heritage is certainly not the new kid on the block when it comes to Christian education. With more than 43 years of educational experience as a school and an average of 16 years of teaching experience per teacher, our experience is shining through in everything we do.
  • Because we are distinctively Christian – As a Christian school, we are unashamedly Christian at all levels of the educational process. God and His Word serve as the center hub from which all other spokes flow.
  • Because we are distinctively different – Being different just for the sake of being different has no meaningful value. Being different in the sense that Christ and His Word speaks of being different is of infinite value. Our prayer is that our students, and especially our graduates, will be distinctively different from the world in the sense that they are Christ-like in all they do and in all they represent.
The choice is clear! Choose Heritage Christian School!
